Chinese Yuan will be the Global Currency of the Future

In the future, the United States of America will face an economic downturn. More and more people will cease using the U.S. dollar. 75% of the world’s nations will be using the Chinese Yuan, replacing the U.S. dollar as the most popular global currency.

Additionally, the portrait of Mao Zedong which is currently used in the Chinese Yuan banknote will change in future.

Update on 20 Sep 2021:

China will “steadily and prudently” promote yuan internationalisation in 2021, and further develop offshore yuan markets, the central bank said on Saturday (18 Sep 2021).

China has been trying to boost the yuan’s global clout since 2009 to reduce the reliance on the US dollar in trade and investment settlements and challenge the dollar’s role as the world’s major reserve currency.
