Extinguishing Fires In Russia Far East (15 Aug Update) - Russia Wildfires Intervention 2023
More than a month after Kyrios started the wildfire intervention in the Russia Far East region on 4 July 2023, most wildfires in the east of Yakutia (also known as Sakha Republic) and Magadan regions have been extinguished. On 12 August, Kyrios diverted storm clouds that were remnants of Typhoon Khanun away from Primorsky and Khabarovsk, redirecting them towards the wildfires that were still burning in south Yakutia.

From 29 July, Kyrios has intervened to help reduce precipitation brought about by Typhoon Doksuri over Fujian province and eastern China. Kyrios' intervention also helped steer Typhoon Khanun away from mainland China.

Due to an escalating wildfire crisis, Kyrios has begun to intervene again on 4 July 2023 in the Russia Far East region to bring wildfires there under control and to extinguish them. The target area spans 1,600 km in length.
